Ian Poulter has had an amazing fall season, beginning with his marvelous display at the Ryder Cup in Illinois in August. Poulter won all four of his matches at the Medinah Country Club just outside of Chicago, which pitted the top US golfers against the best of the Europeans. Following up his impressive performance in the United States, Poulter came from behind at the HSBC Champions in Shenzen, China to overcome a world class group of Phil Mickelson, Jason Dufner, Scott Piercy and Ernie Els who all tied for second. Poulter compiled a staggering 21-under, 267 on the weekend at Mission Hills Olazabal Course in China. This was Poulter’s first victory of the 2012 season.
