Bio
I am a real easy going Maori boy from New Zealand who loves to try and make fun out of any situation. I love traveling the world to play golf or meet up with the Oakley crew for a Photo Shoot and a couple of drinks. I’ve always had the attitude of making your own luck and that you need to kick the door down so opportunity doesn’t need to come knocking. My Family is number one and good friends number two and there is nothing better than sitting on the beach in Papamoa with the sun going down with a beer in one hand and a fishing line in the other.

Q & A
-
Risks...
Risks are what needs to be taken to succeed in life. The bigger the risk the better the reward.
-
Pain...
I think pain is a natural part of life. As 50 Cent once rapped "sunny days wouldn't be special if it wasn't for rain, joy wouldn't feel so good if it wasn't for pain." You have to take the good with the bad to enjoy victory.
-
Travel...
Travel can be the worst when you are in cattle class with screaming babies next to you for 15 hours. On the flip side when you get flown first class on a 747 you don't want to get off. I love traveling the world meeting new people and seeing new things and cultures!
-
Filming...
Filming especially for Oakley is an awesome ride. Especially when all the Oakley crew are there egging you on and laughing at my stupid fist pumps.
-
Alcohol...
Alcohol is the best when you haven't seen your best mates in months and you all sit down and get blind reminiscing!
-
Cigarettes...
Cigarettes should be illegal in golf. Especially since you see Angel Cabrera chugging them down like Pringles to win the US open under that pressure.
-
Oakley is different...
Oakley is different in many ways. One because they bring something to the game of golf that no other brand is prepared to offer. They don't mind bringing an energy to the "gentlemen's" game that is mostly rare in the sport.
-
I prefer...
I prefer sweet over sour, cold over hot, night over day, brunettes over blondes and my family over anything else.
-
Once I...
Once I had an unfortunate accident in Georgia which put me an hour from death. From then on I promised myself I wouldn't sit on the couch and watch the world go bye. I would get up and be the world going bye!
-
I love...
I love crowds and I love pressure. I know if there is a crowd and I have that feeling in my stomach like I am going to throw up that I was playing well and had a chance to win.
-
My biggest fans...
My biggest fans have always been my family, friends and fellow countrymen. I love my country and always have a soft spot for New Zealand.
