Other organizations claim to have big pre-season big air events, but really is the best and brightest. Top names compete for big prizes, in downtown Zurich, in front of thousands upon thousands of spectators. This event is one of the bookmakrs in the season, one of the events that athletes will make it to — or at least try to. Freeskiing as a whole, and especially in Europe, benefit immensely from Freestyle.CH’s reach, scope and prestige. Oakley Swedish skier Jacob Wester won the 2008 North American Open Slopestyle, as well as the 2008 big air with a double cork 1260. We caught up with Jacob to hear his thoughts on this year’s

    Following Oakley freeskier Jacob Wester’s victory in Zurich last year, the American sunglasses and sporting goods manufacturer insisted on bringing in the big guns for this year’s In and around the mobile, high-tech “Rolling O Lab”, Oakley will be presenting the limited edition snow goggles, daily video highlights direct from the Landiwiese and, of course, top athletes such as Jacob Wester (ski) and Nicolas Müller (snow).
