    After a slow start to the 2014 X-Fighters season, reigning world champ Tom Pagès made up for lost time in Madrid. In a sport renowned for its constant progression, the Frenchman had something extra special to share with the FMX community: the Bike Flip. We’d seen grainy footage online and across the social spectrum, but Pages waited until Spain to unveil the trick in competition – and what an unveiling it was. “I’ve been waiting to unveil the Bike Flip for a while now. I’m so happy,” Pagès said. “The runs here were loaded with special moves that made it like a best trick competition where every trick could have been the best.”

Riding in front of a raucous crowd at the iconic Las Ventas bullfighting ring, Pagès left no doubters that he was deserving of the title, with some of his most polished and dynamic runs of the year.
