CyclingFränk Schleck, a Luxembourgish professional road bicycle racer riding for Team Saxo Bank, started his career in 2001. His breakthrough came in 2005, when he achieved three podium places in the last month of the season. In the 2006 Tour de France, Frank culminated with a stage win atop l’Alpe d’Huez. CAVENDISH READY TO TURN ON THE SPRINT POWER IN CALIFORNIA
Following a successful season debut in the Tour of Qatar, Columbia-Highroad sprint ace Mark Cavendish says he will be aiming high in the Tour of California – which starts this weekend. Cavendish took two wins in three days in Qatar, and is now ready for action in the nine-day American race.
