15 ultra intense stages are in the rear view mirror. And still, Oakley riders are displaying their top form. Mark Cavendish, as expected, is definitely one of the most impressive. Oakley’s star sprinter continued dominance of his craft by claiming the 15th Tour de France stage – his fourth stage win of the race and a move to tighten his grip on the overall points competition lead. The British speed demon blazed past the rest of the field at the tail end of the stage’s 192.5km stretch from Limoux to Montpellier – racking up his overall eighth win of the 2011 season. O’s prominent HTC Highroad rider now holds 70 wins: 29 Grand Tour Stage and 19 in the Tour de France – under his belt. More than impressive. And the Green Jersey definitely looks at home on him.

"I don't consider myself lucky to be a professional. I'm a pro because I worked for it. I'm not a pro because I was lucky, but I'm lucky to be where I am." "It's an unbelievable sense of achievement when you cross the line first, knowing all the hard work your team and yourself have put into the race, and everything leading up to it, has all been worthwhile. " "I want to keep winning - big, small, long, short, road, track, hard, easy - it doesn't matter, as long as the team or I are first across the finish line. I just love racing my bike! "
