Last Thursday, Robert Hunter became the first South African to win a stage at the Tour, winning Thursday’s Stage 11 sprint finish after the 113.4-mile route from Marseille to Montpellier.

Oakley’s Cadel Evans of Australia is in third overall and five Oakley riders are in the top five.

After a rest day on Tuesday, the riders face the hardest stage of the Tour on Wednesday which features the out-of-category climbs of the Port de Larau and the summit finish at the Col d’Aubisque with a pair of first category climbs sandwiched between.
