Fränk Schleck, a Luxembourgish professional road bicycle racer riding for Team Saxo Bank, started his career in 2001. His breakthrough came in 2005, when he achieved three podium places in the last month of the season. In the 2006 Tour de France, Frank culminated with a stage win atop l’Alpe d’Huez.     Team Saxo Bank is psyched.

    The camp’s golden boy, Oakley’s Jakob Fuglsang, won his third straight Tour of Denmark cycling race on Sunday, finishing 27 seconds ahead of Canadian rider Svein Tuft of Team Garmin Transitions – with American Matthew Busche of Team Radio Shack stealing third.

    The coveted yellow jersey may have alluded the Big O in the final standing this year…but make no mistake, Oakley athletes were absolutely brilliant in the battle for Tour de France victory.

    Team riders dotted the French landscape and stage winner podiums all throughout the heated contest: 12 stage victories. Athletes wearing the yellow jersey. And a handful of O riders proudly finishing in the top 10. Few teams at the competition enjoyed the immense athleticism and state-of-the-art equipment that characterizes Oakley’s presence at the Tour. Just the way we like it.

    Once again Oakley provided what many called their best trip ever. From the entertaining bus rides to riding brand new Cervelo’s on the Stage 18 course to a VIP Suite at the finish line on the Champs-Elysee to a private dinner party in le Louvre garden.
