At the age of four, Marc’s parents were sick of him wrecking himself on the roadside outside their New Zealand home. They took him to the BMX track and he has never looked back. Winning his first national title at age of ten, he has only lost it twice since laying claim to numerous records along the way. Leaving high school in 2001 he painted cars for three years and after making his first Elite Men World final in 2005 he put down the spray gun and made the decision to ride full time. With countless victories under his belt, the end of 2008 was the right time for him to move to the USA to work towards being the world’s best.
