Bio
As one of the few pros able to excel as well in Park contests as on street riding missions, Josh Harrington is an accomplished all-around rider. He can blast ramp transitions and fire out complicated handrail combos in the same run. In contests, he’ll most likely be going higher than everyone else over a hip transfer and icepicking the biggest wall he can find. He does some of the biggest tricks in the business, and his 6’3’ frame makes them look even bigger.
Harrington grew up in Greenville, NC, the town currently known as Pro Town, USA in the BMX world. When all the pros moved into town, he kept on riding and has become known as one of the current day rail masters. He partly credits his quick ascension the top of the Pro vert ranks to riding with some of the top pros everyday and access to one of only three vert resi ramps in the U.S.

What are the events, wins, memories that stand out most throughout your career so far?
Winning three times in a row at Metro Jam was pretty rad. Now that that contest hasn't existed for a few years I'm pretty stoked to have lived it. Video part of the year and video of the year - Nora Cup was pretty cool because the whole industry votes on one person for that year and they picked me.

That I ride everything and enjoy it.

When did you first start riding? Where/why?
1996 I played every sport then found the BMX park, got invited in by the locals and never turned back.

What drives you to be sicker than everyone else?
HaHa. Don't really drive to be sicker just try to be original and the best i can be.

Scoopin up balls in the caged ball scooping tractor at the driving range.
