How did you start BMX racing? How old were you?
I started racing BMX when I was 6 years old. I was introduced to BMX with a letter in my school bulletin which said to come and try at the local track Happy Valley.

If you were not a pro BMX racer, you would be?
A professional downhill rider or street skate boarder.

What is the biggest obstacle you have faced?
Moving to the USA at such a young age of 17 and dealing with being the outsider and having to do everything to start without big team trailers or parents around.

What is the best advice you've heard?
It's easy to get to the top it's hard staying there.

What is the best advice you've heard on improving in your sport?
It's an individual sport so you write the script.

Where is your favorite place to ride?
The USA Olympic Training Center

At this level, what is something unique that you do in your training to improve your riding?
I don't do anything to different or out there I just do everything as best I can.

What are your goals for 2009?
For me the 2009 season is now over for the most part. I had two major goals set out which I recently achieved in backing up my Junior Elite World Title and winning the over all World Cup series.

How do you get and stay inspired?
Staying inspired for me is easy. I race a BMX bike, travel the world and get to rock great products such as Oakley goggles and glasses.

What are your strengths?
I see my strengths as being able to consistently produce my best laps at races and not have times all over the shop.

What are you working on?
Getting stronger for the first three pedals.
