  • Oakley's Sam Willoughby Wins "The Double" In BMX Supercross

    Oakley’s Sam Willoughby just claimed victory at the UCI Supercross BMX final in France in the UCI SX Frejus. The 2009 Junior World Champion claimed his second win in a World Cup event this year and with that the talented young Australian from Adelaide was also awarded 2009 overall winner.

    Some of Oakley’s top factory pilots (two wheel “no motor”) along with Oakley employees and friends, including editors from Outside Magazine and Wired, came together yesterday to shred, in sunny skies, at Oakley’s newly built pump track for a special media event. Oakley’s Dirt Lab, which is essentially a pump track, was designed by legendary pro mountain bike rider, Brian Lopes.

    Last weekend the 9th annual O Marisquino Festival happened during beautiful summer weather in Vigo, Spain. The event, sponsored by Oakley, Redbull and Vans, featured skate, bmx, wakeboard, break-dance, music, and for the first time urban downhill mountain bike.
