Not even torrential downpour and a predominantly Chinese sold out crowd could stop the USA duo of Kerri Walsh and Misty May from their second gold medal.

The last time Walsh and May lost a beach volleyball match was in July of 2007 to Tian Jia and Wang Jie of China (Oakley) and in the first set it looked like the Chinese girls were primed for another upset.
