Tops: Oakley’s Juliana Silva Named FIVB Most Outstanding Player, Top Offensive Player and Blocker
We don’t know how to say “sweep” in Portuguese. So we’ll settle for the word “domination.” Oakley’s Brazilian Bomber Juliana Silva gobbled up all the major accolades for the 2010 FIVB season, as league representatives, players, coaches, referees and officials on the international beach volleyball circuit named her “Most Outstanding Player,” “Top Blocker,” and “Top Offensive Player.” Wheew.

Oh Babies! Oakley’s Kerri Walsh Triumphs in Thailand, Grabs First FIVB Gold As a Mom
Oakley’s Kerri Walsh is no stranger to Gold Medals. But the hardware-loaded Oakley star had yet to win one…as a mom, that is. Lo and behold, the beach bomber (and her partner Nicole Branagh) crushed her way to victory this past weekend at the Phuket Thailand Open – topping the Italian duo of Marta Menegatti and Valeria Rosso 21-23, 21-14, 15-11. Kerri hadn’t played in a title match since 2008.

Surprise! Oakley’s Casey Jennings and Kevin Wong Clobber Their Way to FIVB Gold in the Netherlands
It looked like they’d been partners for years. But Oakley’s Casey Jennings and Kevin Wong paired up just a few weeks ago. In only their second tournament together, the two detonated their way to a Gold Medal at the FIVB event in The Hague, Netherlands this past Sunday. The O team bested the formidable Brazilian duo of Benjamin Insfran and Bruno Oscar Schmidt (21-18, 18-21, 17-15) for the victory.
