The 6’8” Crutti has a tall list of achievements in his young career. In 2008 he won his first gold medal on the FIVB World Tour and this momentum followed through into 2009 where he won two 1st places, three 2nd places and three 3rd places. This lead to the award for most improved player in 2009. These records were to increase when he partnered up with the experienced, Emanuel Rego. 2010 was the year when they teamed up, however their first year together was not the most successful with only 3 silver medals on the FIVB World Tour. This bond on the court quickly grew in 2011 with 5 FIVB wins and winning the Pan American Games. In this year Cerutti was awarded; FIVB Best Blocker 2011, Best Hitter, Best Offensive Player, Team of the Year 2011 and FIVB Tour Champion 2011.They have won a further two gold medals in 2012 putting them in a great position going into the London Olympics and their hearts will be firmly set on gold.
