One of the most animated and enthusiastic player’s on the AVP Tour, Jennings is a resident crowd favorite. He captured his first victory in Belmar in ’04 after appearing in 6 finals throughout the past two years with partner Matt Fuerbringer- more final appearances than any other team during that time. He and Fuerbringer are the only players to finish ranked in the top seven individually in the last three years.
Named AVP’s most improved player in 2002 and 2003 and best defensive player in 2003, Casey “the kid” as he’s fondly referred to, has proven he has a very promising career on the beach. He has the ability to motivate and excite beach volleyball fans and crowds like no other player on the tour.
Despite playing many successful seasons with Fuerbringer, Jennings recently began a new partnership with Brad Keenan in 2010, placing ninth in their first two AVP events as well as their first two FIVB tournaments. They advanced to their first FIVB semifinal in the Moscow Grand Slam.
He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2000 with a degree in Sociology and was a key member of the 1999 NCAA Championship volleyball team.
Jennings grew up outside of Las Vegas, Nevada and is the youngest of five brothers. He currently resides in Redondo Beach, CA with his wife, gold medalist and newest member of the Oakley beach volleyball family, Kerri Walsh. They have two boys, Joseph and new addition, Sundance.
