Bio
Lima did not qualify in the first AVP tournament she ever played in (San Diego in 2004), but since has never failed to advance from a qualifier.
Lima grew up in Brazil and started playing volleyball at the age of 15. She played collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette, where she left ranked fourth in career digs and fifth in kills on the school’s charts. Twice she was named all-conference, garnering first-team honors her senior season.

How long have you played volleyball?
Beach: 5 years, Indoor: 10 years

When did you start playing volleyball?
when i was 15 years old.. very late for Brazilians!

Who/what inspires you?
My friends and family, the people I get to spend most of my time with are some of the best athletes in the world and the people around me are so inspiring, I am so blessed to be around them!

If you were not a professional beach volleyball player, what would you do?
It used to be a flight attendant, but maybe I could also be a trainer or keep coaching like I used to.

What are your favorite songs currently loaded onto your Oakley Thump?
Oh my gosh! I LOVE music!! I have everything!

What is more important to you than volleyball?
Family!

Do you have any other special talents or interests?
I used to dance as a child and teenager, so dancing is my second passion.

The coolest brand for sunglasses ever!! And the clothing line is awesome! I was so excited to get on the Oakley team!

cell phone, iPod, bikini, kanga (or syrongue), FOOD!
