Oakley Spring Training Tour Kicks Off
Once again it’s that time of year where the best ballplayers in the world get primed up for the 162 game regular season and hopefully a run at making “The Series” in late October. Yesterday the Rolling O Lab was parked outside the Phillies facility in Clearwater, FL to educate fans and consumers, as well as allow Oakley’s Baseball Sports Marketing Manager supply the players with the best eyewear in the game.
The game featured the young and rising Orioles lead by baseball guru, Buck Showalter. Matt Angle and Robert Andino were rocking custom Radar eyewear in the starting line up for the Orioles. On the other side, the Phillies have almost half their team wearing Oakley eyewear ranging from Flak Jacket to Radar in different custom set-ups; including one of the best sluggers in the game, Ryan Howard who mashed a home run in the fourth over the left field wall to the sold out crowds content.
In the end, the Phillies pulled off the win in the bottom of the ninth with a bases loaded single to center field, taking it 4-3. After the game, Mr. Howard made his way out to the Rolling O Lab to learn more about HDO technology, pick up some new eyewear and sign some baseballs.
Come check out the Rolling O Lab at Thursday’s game in Clearwater when the Phillies host the infamous Yankees. The game has a 1:05pm EST start time, so swing by the truck on your way in before or on your way out after the game.
