Enter Skateboard Icon Bob Burnquist's Dreamland

To some, home is where the heart is. For skateboard icon Bob Burnquist, home is where innovation happens. Home is “Dreamland.”

In this new webisode series, Burnquist grants his fans exclusive access to the private domain in which so many of his contributions to skateboarding were born, his backyard in Southern California, which he calls Dreamland. Hence, “The Dreamland Series.” This isn’t just any backyard. He’s got some space to get creative. So much of Burnquist’s character and personality are reflected in those acres of hilly terrain – from the vegetable gardens to the yurts, the helicopter pad to the Vert ramp, the MegaRamp to the never-before-seen addition: the Hip.

To lead off the series, we see something from Burnquist that hasn’t been seen since 2010: a full-length video part filled with never-before-seen footage. And, the Hip. Yes, he added a Hip feature onto his personal MegaRamp. A Hip that starts up on a hill and sends him across a 15-foot gap into the 25-foot quarterpipe. You know, something mellow.

The series will span six episodes and take you into the world that is Bob Burnquist’s Dreamland. That journey begins today and continues weekly at oakley.com/dreamland.
