Oakley and Shaun White present Air + Style Beijing Returns to China

The one and only 6-star event of the World Snowboard Tour (WST) on the Asian continent, the Oakley and Shaun White present Air + Style Beijing, returns to China this Saturday, December 8, 2012.

“It’s great to be back in China for the third year of Air + Style,” said Shaun White. “The riders put on an amazing show last year, and I’m guessing the level of snowboarding at this year’s event is going to be even crazier.”

For the first time all 24 riders will start in head-to-head competition from the very first round. Twelve winners and four lucky losers will advance to Round 2 to battle their way through to the four-man Super Final. On the line are 1,000 WST points, a dragon’s share of the $100,000 US prize purse and the coveted Ring Of Glory.

Reining champion, Ulrik Badertscher, is headed to Beijing with every intention to defend his title. However he will face heavy opposition from such strong opponents as WST champion Peetu Piiroinen, WST Big Air champion Seppe Smits and Oakley’s own Mark MC Morris, Seb Toutant, Stale Sandbech among others in the stacked field of riders.
