The Future is Now: Oakley Pro Junior Storms Across the Globe, Showcases Surf Stars of Tomorrow

The future of surfing is in good hands. And Oakley is making sure of it.

2011’s Oakley Pro Junior campaign is in full swing. And from what’s already gone down thus far, it’s safe to say that this year is on track to be all-time. Each region’s most talented and dazzling young surfers have been throwing down as a preview of what’s to come in the sport. And we’re not even close to being done.

With the North Stradbroke Island (Australia), Lowers (California) and Brazil stops in the books – and the coming events in Spain, Japan and France on the horizon, some of the best undiscovered rippers on the Planet are sure to surface onto center stage. All united by the love of the sport and pure stoke on Oakley.

And let’s not forget that the World Pro Junior in Bali will wrap it all up in grand fashion – Indo style – to crown the crème of the crop.

Oakley’s youngest Team Riders, including the likes of emerging star Kolohe “Brother” Andino (already slated by most to be the next ‘big thing’), Conner Coffin, Jake Halstead, Noa Deane and Shaun Joubert are sure to make some serious noise when all is said and done – so watch out for them come October. They’ll be rockin’ their super high-tech Blade Boardshorts for an edge.

Did we mention that you can take in all the action…live from your computer…at Yes, you read it right. Live streams, news, schedules and more fun stuff. So don’t snooze on it.

Are you pumped yet? If not, here are some videos from this year to get your blood flowing.
