    Simon Dumont cased it on his final hit of his first run at the Winter Dew Tour Ski Superpipe Finals in Breckenridge. But it didn’t matter. His sick 94.50 second run had him standing at the top of the podium with the victory.

    Lindsey Vonn is kickin’ arse. She’s not only the most successful female American skier in history. She’s also the first skier, male or female, to ever be named an Associated Press Athlete of the Year. Lindsey accepted the honors this past weekend, taking 77 of 175 votes submitted by news organizations that make up the AP’s membership, more than double what any other challenging female athlete totaled in the tally announced Saturday.

    Tornstein Horgmo raged out of the gates on fire…and never looked back. Despite challenging conditions and a freshly dumped layer of powder, the Norwegian O Ripper threw down a monster 96.50 on his first run with a frontside nose bluntslide to fakie on to switch backside tailslide to switch to take an immediate lead at the Winter Dew Tour Breckenridge Slopestyle contest.
