You read it. Just Push Play. Oakley’s French Ripper Richard Permin is telling you exactly that – as he dropped his first webisode of his new series, “Push Play.” Episode 1 is just flat out sick. From Richard gearing up to him charging down monster slopes in Alaska (and other locations from last season), it’s pretty dramatic. So check it!
Eero Ettala is psyched. Oakley’s Finnish Snowboard Star just landed the front cover of Europe’s prominent Onboard Magazine. But even better: the shot captured the essence of his being – featuring key elements of his hometown, Helsinki. From the so-called “Church of Doom” (we don’t know why they call it that) to the infamous “booze cruise” boats that ship partiers from the Finnish city to Stockholm, Sweden, the sweet photo reflected the core of who Eero is…and where he’s from. And some Oakley love, of course.
The progression continues. And as always, Oakley is at the forefront. O chargers Henrik Harlaut and Phil Casabon displayed it to the fullest in the latest episode of the B&E Show. The fifth edition, entitled “the Medicine,” has our two shredders romping through Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Utah and Colorado – unveiling urban tranny’s and spots that have been mostly untouched by the skiing world to express their creativity. With the possibility of free skiing at the Olympics looming, the crew sees this as a “movement, inspired, as a cure to skiing’s future in it’s purest form…that may change a lot of the perception and clientele that will be brought upon the sport.”
