Oakley Australia and Australia’s Surfing Life Magazine hosted the ninth annual Big Wave Awards at Bondi Pavillion in Bondi Beach, Australia. The awards pay homage to some of the best heavy water surfers for their fearless pursuit of adrenaline pumping big wave action.

Some of the best skaters in the world are gathering in Australia for the annual Bowl-A-Rama skate contest. The competition is on from 9am – 7pm at Bondi Beach Skatepark on Saturday Feb. 19, however the week is full of activities from media engagements and demos to the infamous parties at The Beach Road Hotel.

Schlopy Keeps Rolling! New World Champion Tallies Slopestyle Win at Dew Tour Snowbasin, Kaya Turski Takes Women’s Win
This kid just keeps on chargin’. Oakley’s young ski shredder Alex Schlopy, the new FIS World Champion and Winter X Gold Medalist, racked up yet another victory with a first place slopestyle finish at the Dew Tour-Snowbasin. The win brought him his first Dew Tour hardware piece – right on his home turf. Meanwhile, Oakley Women’s Star Skier Kaya Turski, fresh off a gold medal of her own at Winter X 15, topped the field for a Dew Tour win of her own.
