Oakley’s LOVE + GUTS international art show showed its panache Friday night (Feb. 18) in Bondi Beach, Australia having one of the most memorable events to date. Skaters, artists and art lovers came out to the Beach Road Hotel in support of one of Oakley’s most anticipated events. Tied into the BOWL-A-RAMA skate contest, the Art Show has become a staple not only for Australia, but for all the skaters competing in the event.

It was an epic Winter X Games 15 in Aspen late January. On the heels of Oakley Star Torstein Horgmo throwing down the first-ever triple cork in Winter X history to grab the Gold in Big Air, Torstein, along with some of the top riders on the Planet, are colliding in Oslo, Norway…starting today. All for the annual Oakley Arctic Challenge – originally introduced and owned by O Snowboard Legend Terje Håkonsen From Oakley’s young rippers like Mark McMorris and Seb Toutant – to Sage Kotsenburg, who was the first ever to land a cab 1440 double cork in a contest (Air & Style in Innsbruck) – this is sure to be one rockin’ event.

Dazzling Season: Torstein Horgmo Runs Away With Dew Cup, Writes Winter X Games History
Torstein Horgmo’s season was nothing short of tantalizing. The coveted Dew Cup was all but wrapped up for him as he mashed into Snowbasin for the Toyota Championships this past week. But it didn’t come without drama. Torstein threw down big time with perfect style on the rail and a cab double 10 to a switch backside 9 on the last two jumps. The performance scored him a 93.75 to grab the third podium spot – enough to grab the first Dew Cup of his career. All on the heels of him busting out a huge triple cork in the Snowboard Big Air Contest at Winter X Games 15, the very first ever landed at Winter X, dazzling the amped up crowd on hand and grabbing the Gold medal.
