The South African prodigy born and raised in the hard knocks of Durban, South Africa has begun to leave a legacy as a competitive beast in his young career. Terje Haakonsen’s party went off…again. Oakley’s Norwegian Snowboard Legend hosted yet another edition of the Oakley Arctic Challenge this past week in Oslo – putting on a display of some of the best snowboarders on Earth. From Dew Cup Champion Torstein Horgmo, to Winter X Games standout Mark McMorris, to Mikkel Bang, Gjermund Bråten and Jenny Jones, Oakley’s formidable team of rippers was well represented in the picturesque Nordic scenery. Jenny Jones, fresh off a solid podium finish at Winter X 15 in Aspen, grabbed third place in the Women’s Final after a super solid run that featured an impressive front three nosebone. All in all, one happening event at the freezing, yet oh-so-hot TAC 2011.
