Winter X Games Europe 2011 Recap Mega Gallery
The Winter X Games Europe 2011 have come to a close in Tignes, France producing the highest score in history of an competition at an X Games, rain, snow, fog, wind and sunshine. In all Oakley took home one gold, two silver and two bronze medals giving us a total of 25 medals in 2011 at both Winter X Games.

Toutant Scores Silver in Men’s Snowboard Slope
So after a week of almost non-stop snow, clouds, fog, rain and ice the skies parted to provide an epic day of sunshine. The result was perhaps one of the best slopestyle contests in X Games history with the highest score in history being broken not once, but twice!

Young Norwegian Norendal Takes Silver
Unlike their counterparts in the ski division, the women’s snowboard slopestyle contest saw the first sunny skies of the competition at 2011 European Winter X Games. This year’s results would prove different as defending champion and top Oakley snowboarder Jenny Jones entered the competition with an injury sustained in practice at the US Open last week. Jones would come in eighth place, but was cheered on wildly by her ever present British fan base at the bottom of the course.
