It’s definitely no surprise. But we’re just as pumped as ever.

Oakley Snowboard Stars Shaun White, Kazuhiro Kokubo and Matt Ladley threw down big time at the Snowboard SuperPipe Elimination on Thursday night, advancing and setting the stage for what’s sure to be an epic, Oakley-laced final event on Sunday evening at Winter X Games 15.

O’s high-powered crew was lead by none other than Shaun himself, whose back-to-back double-cork 1080s on his first of two laps took the night’s top score of 92.00…all in his newly unveiled, signature-series ‘Airbrake’ goggles.

Fellow Oakley Team Riders Kazu (in his brand new Signature Series goggles) and Matt Ladley also advanced, busting out scores of 68.00 (sixth) and 67.00 (seventh) respectively with some solid runs of their own.

With our rippers giving fans a peek of what’s to come, the stage is now officially set for what will likely be an amazing spectacle of talent and courage at the very last event at Winter X 15: All set to go down at about 6:30 p.m. Aspen Time.

Don’t miss this!

(The ‘Airbrake’ and Kazu Signature Series goggles aren’t available for purchase yet – stay tuned)
