Young star Harley Clifford pushed the sport’s envelope and smashed the record books yet again, throwing down the first-ever wake-to-wake double flip in-contest to triumph at the Pro Wakeboard Stop in Ft. Worth.

All-Planet: Women’s Star Nicola Butler Emerges as World Champion, Harley Clifford Claims Wakeboard World Series Title and Tezuka Takes Men’s Pro Junior Honors
Oakley’s Wake team is out of this World. Literally. Starting with defending Queen of Wake Nicola Butler, who added yet more hardware to her collection by claiming the 2011 World Championship Title this past weekend in Indianapolis. The English-born ripper faced off against six of the Planet’s best riders in a six-woman final for top honors – including fellow Oakley rider Amber Wing, who was coming off five straight wins in the Queen of Wake series. But after two unfortunate falls from Amber in her final run, Nicola emerged at the top of the podium following a monster run – laced with a Moby Dick and a Roll to Blind for a big 91.67 score. This was her third World Title in four years.

Shredding Down Under: Oakley Global Wakeboard Stars Harley Clifford, Nicola Butler and Amber Wing Drop Into Australia
There’s no denying it. Oakley has one of the, if not the sickest Wakeboard teams on the Planet. The epic seasons pumped out by our Global Wakeboard Stars as of late – lined with awards and recognitions from their peers and fans alike – tell the story in itself: Our riders are smokin’. And three of them are one awesome representation of the bunch. From Harley Clifford – arguably the best young Wakeboarder on Earth – to Amber Wing and Nicola Butler, who are undisputedly the most formidable, yet beautiful, female rippers anywhere, this is one killer team in every sense. To warm up for the coming pro tour season, the trio spent some time in Harley and Amber’s home turf in Australia to ride, compete, chill and pick up some extre honors.
