Gretchen Bleiler

Pro Since 2002
33 Age USA

Gretchen Bleiler almost never became the snowboarding sensation that she is today. Born in Ohio, it wasn’t until she was 10 that the family relocated to Aspen, Colo. and her life in and around snowboarding began and blossomed. Years later she would emerge with a Silver Medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, six X Games medals and enough contest hardware to fill a storage bin.

The success wasn’t unexpected for Bleiler, who aspired to compete in the Olympics since she found her passion at age 11. Since announcing herself on the global snowboarding scene, Bleiler has remained at the forefront of snowboarding, accruing accolades, appearing on talk shows and traveling the world like an A-list celebrity. Away from the snowboard spotlight, she’s a fitness enthusiast, a dog lover and because of her love for the outdoors, she’s actively involved with Protect Our Winters (POW) and the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES)
