BIOGRAPHY

At a mere 24 years old, Ryan Dungey has already claimed every title in the sport of Motocross. And for good reason.

Technically solid and flawlessly consistent on the track, the Minnesota native’s dominance kicked off in 2009 with his sweeping of the Lites Supercross Championship and the 250 AMA Motocross Title.

Following up with an astounding 2010 campaign after the step up to the 450 class, Ryan’s steady performances dominated the field en route to claiming both the Supercross Championship and the Motocross Champion as a rookie on the big bikes – becoming just the second rider in the history of the sport to accomplish the feat. Topped off with a 2010 Motocross Des Nations triumph, it became clear that RD had become one of motocross’ elite.

The next season, although not quite as glorious, finished with a solid third in Supercross, second in AMA Motocross and another Motocross Des Nations crown.

Before the beginning of the 2012 campaign, following some bike issues and other factors on his Suzuki team, Ryan made the decision to reunite with one of his mentors, Roger DeCoster, on the Red Bull/KTM Team.

The humble star wasted no time in making history for KTM, claiming its first-ever Supercross victory then tallying 14 wins and a second 450 AMA Motocross Championship to break even more records for the orange team.
