Rafa Cabrera Bello

31 Age ESP

Rafa Cabrera-Bello is a professional golfer currently playing on the European Tour. Born and raised in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain, Cabrera-Bello picked up the game of golf at a very young age and has enjoyed a string of success ever since.

As an amateur, Cabrera-Bello dominated competition in his home country of Spain, winning the Spanish National Championship at every age group level from under 7 through under 18. Making a name for himself on the European Tour, Cabrera-Bello turned professional in 2005 at the age of 20. Since then, the Spaniard has wracked up an impressive five career professional wins, including the 2005 Canarias Professional Championship as an amateur, two wins on the Challenge Tour (MAN NÖ Open 2006 and Credit Suisse Challenge 2008) and two wins on the European Tour (Austrian Golf Open 2009 and Omega Dubai Desert Classic 2012).

Cabrera-Bello joined the Oakley team in 2013 and can be seen rocking the new Oakley golf apparel and eyewear on both the European and PGA Tours.  When he’s not golfing, Cabrera-Bello keeps up his fitness in the water as a huge fan of surfing, wakeboarding and other water sports.

When asked what drives him to work hard and rise up beyond mediocrity the Spaniard stated, “I love to compete, and there is no better competition than golf. I’ve always loved challenges, and believe hard work pays off sooner or later.”
