Gretchen Bleiler goes to California Speedway to watch the Nascar Nationwide Series

Gretchen Bleiler went out to Fontana California to show her support for Oakley’s first ever wrapped car in the Nascar Nationwide Series. With pit passes and chili dogs in hand, Gretchen went track side to see and hear the action for herself. Gretchen is no stranger to Nascar, having waved the flag at the Daytona 500 back in 2006 after claiming a silver medal at the Torino Olympics; so she didn’t hesitate for a second when she was asked to come down to the track and watch the Oakley car race.

Although Oakley didn’t walk away with the checkered flag, they definitely had the coolest pit stop on the track along with the best looking car. Along with that, they had legendary formula one car driver turned Nascar hell-man Juan Pablo Montoya hanging out to watch the action before his big race the next day in the Sprint Cup Series.

So, after the last car crossed the finish line, the last chili dog was eaten, and everyone had bought a nascar t-shirt, it was time to head home. This was an awesome experience for all, and we highly advise anyone out there to attend the next NASCAR event in your local area; and we definitely recommend you purchase some earplugs.
