Push Process Wins Video Of The Year
On Friday September 12th during the 5th Annual Wakeboarding Magazine Wake Awards show, Push Process was victorious. After winning wakeworld.com’s video of the year earlier in the month, the team was restless for the next step. And an answer to a question the production team asked themselves all year long. “Will we win movie of the year?”
Oakley wakeskater and Video Section of the year Winner Danny Hampson had this to say about the best video award. " Everybody worked so hard on this project and we saw our fair share of injuries. But the team stuck together and made it happen for each other. We did it"
Working with 2-time Video of the Year Director Justin Stephens was a treat for the riders. Since the inception of the idea to make a team movie, Justin was the number one requested filmer from everyone. It worked to their advantage as many of the riders landed new tricks for the 1st time ever.
The result was a timeless wakeboard, wakeskate, and travel film about eight of the most diverse riders in the industry. Featuring Keith Lyman, George Daniels, Danny Hampson, Amber Wing, Andrew Adkison, Dallas Friday, Jack Blodgett, and a standout performance by Aaron Rathy.
1242 Productions want to thanks its partners on the film: Alliance Wakeboard Magazine, MasterCraft Boat Company, CWB, and Video Action Sports distribution company.
