Olympic Media Event
More than 200 international journalists flooded the Oakley Safehouse in Beijing on Monday evening for the Oakley Olympic Event, an exclusive open house that featured technology demonstrations and a press conference with four Oakley Olympians.
Journalists experienced Oakley’s High Definition Optics through a live Rolling O Lab demonstration and heard first hand testimonials from Oakley’s Tour de France stage winner Frank Schleck, world champion hurdler Lolo Jones, 100m sprinter gold medal favorite Walter Dix and world No. 1 doubles player Samantha Stosur.
Lolo Jones modeled Enduring, Oakley’s women’s specific sport performance eyewear, and commented on how much the eyewear has helped her depth perception while hurdling.
In addition to meeting with world-class athletes in a unique environment, attendees mingled with the Oakley team, experienced the Safehouse and soaked up the Oakley culture.
Guests left the event with an Oakley swag bag that included sampled of Oakley’s sport performancece eyewear-Radar and Enduring.
