Rolling O Lab III Rallies Through U.S Mountain Bike Championships

NORBA 036

The second stop for Oakley’s newest Rolling O Lab went down last weekend at Mount Snow in Vermont as the world’s best riders came through to challenge this year’s trails. The intensity picked up as the weekend progressed and the presence of Oakley’s Rolling O Lab could be felt and heard across the mountain. After it was all said and done almost 400 riders and biking enthusiasts across all disciplines of the sport had come through the lab. The HDO message was made clear to all, showing why professional athletes rely on Oakley eyewear for its precision optics and unmatched durability. One patron pointed out that the Lab, “really makes you wonder what you put in front of your eyes” as it became clear to him that not all eyewear is created equal. Despite a few rain clouds the event went off without a hitch as downhill, XC, dual slalom, and trials competitions kept the crowds on their feet screaming for more.

The venue couldn’t have been better as the Mount Snow staff had every aspect of hospitality covered and was truly a testament to the strong relationships between local rep Jason Yelk and his accounts. In the end Oakley athletes made up over 75% of the podiums across all events. However all who participated in tours left with knowledge that the Rolling O Lab clearly illustrates, and many participants became Oakley eyewear lifers on the spot. Not to mention a few lucky “lab rats” got to walk away big raffle weeeeeners with plenty of Oakley prizes on hand.

Again props go out to PEAK Resorts and everybody on the Mount Snow staff especially Jeff, Robin, Shawn, Greg…and how could we forget our friendly valet/rally drivers. Also much love to Lauren with FUSE and rest of the Sobe crew for keeping us energized throughout the weekend. Obviously none of this was possible without the help of area reps J-Yelk and Bobby-Boy, and of course the support from pro rider Kyle Strait and Oakley “OG” Billy Treacy.
