Six months of uploading, ranking and rating cumulated today when Oakley announced the winners of the Oakley Rider Search, an online contest built, hosted, and promoted by Loop’d Network, the fastest growing social network for action sports and youth culture.

The contest invited amateur snowboarders, skateboarders and skiers, along with motocross, BMX and mountain bike riders to submit their best videos. Community members ranked and rated the films, while Oakley selected monthly winners. Six monthly winners from each sport then competed for a grand prize.

In six months, Oakley Rider Search drew almost 10,000 members and more than 1,500 videos. The community generated more than 50,000 unique visitors and 505,000 page views.
