Rolling O Lab visits Burlington, Vermont

The Rolling O landed in Burlington, Vermont on the first day of summer. The weather was sunny and hot and Church Street was packed with anxious shoppers and curious on lookers as Oakley took over. The locals were hyped as local papers, Seven Days, Burlington Free Press and Market Street News all had press releases scheduling our visit.

This was our second visit to Burlington to support the local accounts. The lab was set up in the main walking street in front of The Optical Center and we encountered a steady flow of tourists and shoppers. Throughout the day, the crew was busy educating the public on our brand and The Optical Center was busy selling.

During the day, we sponsored two raffles for any person that toured the lab. They were eligible to win Oakley gear that included hats, T’s, goggles and eyewear. The raffles gave the people who toured an opportunity to spread the Oakley word and in most cases allowed for more traffic through the truck.
In the end, we more than doubled the amount of public that toured the lab and the local accounts far surpassed their previous years sales. The Rolling O is a true attention getter and the people in Burlington cant get enough, as they are already asking where it stops next.

Another successful stop in the Northeast! Many thanks to the Rolling O crew, Ryan, Sean, Frank, Kyle and Nick for backing our program and making it happen.
