Oakley’s Rune Glifberg won every heat, including the action packed and explosive finals of the Bowlriders Masters in Malmo, Sweden over the weekend. One of the most exciting events on the WCS concrete seres, Malmo hosted the event for the third year in a row. Under sunny skies, Rune defended his title.

Across the Atlantic, in Baltimore, the 2008 AST Dew Tour kicked off with the Panasonic Open and Oakley athletes wasted no time winning events.

Back-to-back-to-back AST Dew Tour champion Ryan Sheckler proved he is back for more in 2008. After stomping his first run in Finals at the Panasonic Open and dominating in the top-6 Finals Jam Session, Sheckler started off the 2008 AST Dew Tour with a bang – and an early lead in the overall standings race for his fourth consecutive Dew Cup championship.

Oakley’s Bob Burnquist placed third in Skate Vert.

In the FMX event, Oakley’s Blake “Bilko” Williams took down reigning champ Nate Adams and turned the world of FMX upside down. The 23 year-old Australian made up for missing the last half of the 2007 tour due to injury.

“This is a very nice way of saying, foHey, I’m back,’” says Williams. “Nate and I are teammates and good friends, and it’s an honor just to share a podium with him, much less come out on top. I’m looking forward to a good year of battling each other.”
