Round Three of the Oakley Factory Pilot Tour ascended upon Erie, Colorado. Sunday June 1st, it was a classic Colorado summer day. The masses started arriving around 10a.m. Oakley’s presence was in full force as the Rolling O Lab transformed just feet away from the MX track. This was the first Oakley sponsored dealer ride day, so expectations were as high as the temperature.
We had shops attending from all over Colorado and Wyoming. The Rolling O Lab crew Ryan, Adam, Brian and John killed it as usual with the sick set up as well as the ability and knowledge to blow peoples hair back with the in your face hands on technology. After our guest’s completed the O experience we treated them to a MX Crowbar/O Frame goggle bar where they were encouraged to let there creative juices flow.
Red Bull and Wahoo’s were both on hand to keep everyone fueled for the day of motocross riding and kart racing. Oh yea, with that said we also treated our dealers to a full tilt boogie kart session on a fresh black top track. Billy Ursic of Racer X attended the event and was absolutely stoked and impressed by the presence of Oakley MX in Colorado. By the way anyone that says an editor/writer can’t ride, is bullshit… Billy definitely knows where the gas is, you ripped it bro!
The Factory Pilot Tour stop number three in Colorado was a huge success. Once again we (Oakley) as a brand set the bar for the industry. I am very stoked to have been apart of this insanely impactful MX event. I want to say thanks to these people who made it happen, Erik Schmidt, O Lab Crew, Alyssa Gross, Jim Flanagan, Ryan Cockroft and last but not least Steve Genzler.
Keep it rubber side down…
