Oakley Announces Participation in 2nd Annual Snowball Express

Oakley is excited to announce its participation in the second annual Snowball Express, a multi-day event designed to honor the families of fallen U.S. troops in our current War on Terror. The inaugural event held in December of 2006 had nearly 900 U.S. military family members whose lives have been shattered by the loss of a parent, spouse, son, or daughter serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Building on what was already the largest event of its kind ever held, we expect close to 1,500 family members this year and plan to outdo ourselves for these families! The event, scheduled to be held November 30–December 3, 2007, kicks off with dinner and a performance Friday night by actor/singer Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, CSI: NY) and the Lt. Dan Band. Saturday morning includes breakfast and services at Heritage Church in Anaheim then onto Oakley for an afternoon of activities, displays, sport exhibitions, and gifts. Sunday caps off the weekend with a visit to Disneyland.

Saturday, December 1, 2007 – Oakley Headquarters

The intention of Oakley’s Saturday December 1st event is to provide an environment capable of capturing the eyes, ears, hearts and imaginations of all attendees though on-site sport demonstrations, entertainment, static displays, activities, food, and gifts. Please note that this event is CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC – this is a private and safe time for the families to reflect, be among people with similar experiences and be able to enjoy themselves for a few hours.
