Oakley has not been to the Vision West showroom floor in over a decade, so what better way to return then with the Rolling O Lab. Day One kicked off with a pre-show meeting at 8:30 to discuss goals, the new line and prizes to the top sales rep for the show. The layout Oakley has rolled out for the show is unlike any of our competitors with six leather couches to sit down and meet with accounts, surrounded by slick new glass towers and the Rolling O Lab.

As the show kicked off it was obvious that the Oakley booth would be the hit of the show. The “Kicker” speakers bounced out today’s latest tunes, four flat screen televisions played an assortment of Oakley videos ranging from Separate Volume to the Push Process Teaser and computer screens showcased the entire Oakley line courtesy of Oakley.com. Private tours from the Rolling O Lab Crew were the biggest hit with all accounts, as people waited patiently in line for their tours.

In addition to the insane booth layout, Oakley is running two different panel sessions with top Rx accounts to find out how we can better cater to them. The two sessions were very effective today and will continue tomorrow.

“We hit the stratosphere today and we’re looking to go interstellar tomorrow…with over 300 optical professionals through the Rolling O Lab and a select group for Panel Discussions,” said Becky Wilkinson, Oakley Business Unit Manager: Prescription Eyewear. “We officially have lift off at the 2007 Vision Expo West.”

Tomorrow looks to be another great day for Oakley to continue showcasing why our products are superior and catering to our accounts. Tomorrow night’s activities will culminate with a VIP party for Oakley’s top accounts as a big thank you to their continued support and business.
