The 30th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County (BBBSOC) Golf Tournament netted $153,000 to support the work of the organization matching adult mentors with children in need. This was an increase of nearly $15,000 over the amount raised in the 2006 tournament.

The tournament was held at the prestigious Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, and included course games and a chance to win tournament awards, raffle prizes, a silent auction and dinner at Monarch’s Club 19.

Oakley donated 160 pairs of its Thump sunglasses for the tournament players inside an Oakley grab bag full of other great O products. As well as sponsoring a hole offering up an Oakley Snow Package, which included a backpack, sunglasses and goggles.
