The Rolling O hits Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The Rolling O Lab cruised into Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Sam’s Town Nationwide and Kobalt Tools Sprint Cup races on a windy but gorgeous weekend in March. There was high energy all over the track with over 100,000 NASCAR fans in attendance. Tons of speed junkies made their way through the O Lab and walked away with a higher appreciation for racing’s favorite eyewear. The Lab had a great position between the parking lot and the main gates; even capitalizing on the Boost Mobile FMX show to bring even more attention to High Definition Optics.
The race was a short track so there was lots of excitement around every corner. With engines blowing up and cars sliding into walls, Oakley’s Tony Stewart kept his composure and came in second while leading the most laps of the day with 163. Juan Pablo Montoya finished third moving up twenty spots from his start in the 23rd position.
All in all the race weekend was an excellent exposure for Oakley at an event where we’ve had a strong relationship throughout the years. Thanks again to everyone who took time out of their day to visit the Rolling O Lab to get a little education on the technology that we take so much pride in.
