Commando to East Vail
Oakley Field Testing team members Eph Learned, Greg Strokes and Billy Mattison break trail with friends on a cold December day in 2010 from Vail Pass to a killer pow decent into East Vail.
The snow was deep and variable in places, but good lines were had by all. The 5 degree weather made it easy to keep skinning and breaking trail during the 3 hour accent to the pass. Although there were minor gear malfunctions, which we would like to add were non-Oakley product related, the day turned out to be amazing.
