2010 King of Wake
August 22, marked the date for the closing act of the 2010 World Wakeboard Tour and the Oakley Rolling O-lab put on quite a show. Orlando Watersports Complex hosted over 200 athletes competing for the World Champion title.
Before the event officially kicked off local sales and marketing Reps Rich, Javier, Jared, and Jimmy took full advantage of the Rolling O-Lab parked lakeside. More than 60 representatives from Oakley accounts all over Orlando came out to OWC to join our incredible team of wake athletes for an Oakley VIP night they will not soon forget. Rich Rudolph rocked the grill serving up plenty of food while guests got the chance to tour the National Rolling O-Lab and see first- hand, the truth behind the benefits of Oakley HDO and HD Polarized technologies and why athletes such as 2009 World Champion Aaron Rathy choose the Square O.
Armed with the knowledge to help top their sales numbers from last quarter, the night continued on. Attention soon shifted to the cable park where guests were treated to a free after hours VIP cable park session ending off with product giveaways. Needless to say everyone was stoked!
As the weekend rolled on so did the O-Lab tours. Hundreds of fans were treated to a bit of air-conditioned salvation and an experience they are sure to remember the next time they shop for new eyewear. Close to 200 fans even got to take home a free copy of the Push Process DVD signed by the Oakley Wakeboard Team on site.
A big thanks to Jack Blodgett, Javier Rovira, the great people at OWC and the rest of the Oakley Sales and Marketing crew.
