Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix

The O Lab was front and center for the 2010 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix MotoGP race at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca track in beautiful Monterey, California. The event was a huge success for Oakley as we successfully paired education with retail all while Oakley’s Jorge Lorenzo was busy winning for the sixth time in nine races. The Lab was open for business early all three days ensuring everyone from Oakley’s Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner to their biggest fans had the opportunity to come through and get educated on everything Oakley.

Things started Friday with racers putting in practice laps in preparation for Sunday’s big race. Casey Stoner was kind enough to stop by the lab and sign autographs and chat with some of his fans who began lining up hours before he was scheduled to appear. After finishing his qualifying laps on Saturday, Nicky Hayden didn’t disappoint his fans when he showed up for the second signing of the weekend. With a second and fifth place finish for Stoner and Hayden, respectively, it’s fair to say Oakley athletes more than represented at this year’s event.
