While Oakley is committed to making the latest advancements in eyewear technology, we also recognize that vision care and eyewear are a basic necessity. Oakley supports the OneSight foundation through employee volunteer efforts, monetary donations and at our events including Learn to Ride. The Rolling O Lab was situated by Bondi Beach during the event and we utilized radio to encourage listeners to come down and visit and drop off their old prescription and prescription sun eyewear for the OneSight
Foundation. Zac Efron got involved in our Learn to Ride surfing event and expressed his support for OneSight in the media call and interviews.
Even though the surf was big and messy everyone attempted a lesson. Many guests mentioned that they had been converted! All guests were invited to relax back at Oakley’s Event epicenter, North Bondi Italian, for food and drinks with music provided by local Bondi acoustic guitarist Dax Golding.
