Oakley's Learn To Ride Program Descends Upon Sundance Film Festival

Oakley’s Learn To Ride program descended upon Sundance Film Festival 2010 to teach Sundance celebrities how to snowboard with Oakley Pro athletes Zach Leach, The Dingo, Lauren Perkins, Eero Ettala and Heikki Sorsa. Celebrity attendees were Adrian Grenier, Andie Macdowell, Catt Sadler,Doug Reinhardt, Jillian Murray, Marisa Tomei, Mark Ruffalo, Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, Rachel Hunter, Stephanie Pratt, Steve Aoki, Terrell Owens, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tim Daly and Wilmer Valderrama. From January 22-25th Oakley athletes instructed extreme beginners to more advanced to those that just wanted to blow off some Sundance steam. Celebrities and athletes at the Marriott Mountainside were geared up with Oakley teach outerwear, Oakley goggles, New Era beanies and hats, DC boots and Lib Tech snowboards before hitting the hill. Adrian Grenier said, “I have gone snowboarding a couple of times with Oakley here in Sundance and I’m better than a beginner with the balls of an expert!"

Oakley culminated their event at the downstairs club with “Sunglasses at Night” where Oakley artist Collaboration projects were displayed. Sunglasses at Night teamed up with Sundance Film nominee SKATELAND and hosted their cast party. All that attended were blessed with performances by Kelley James, break out artists of 2010 Mike Posner and Malibu Superstars Shwayze with a special Happy Birthday impromptu performance by John Legend himself as he sang Happy Birthday to one of the Skateland cast members. Vanity Fair Online stated, “Oakley’s Learn To Ride is the most coveted Sundance invite."
