The O Lab Catches Innings in Saint Louis
The Rolling O lab was back in the Lou for one of the greatest rivalries in Major League Baseball. Early season predictions figured this series to be pivotal in deciding who would win this year’s National League Central crown. However, the series, much like the season, was filled with several “Cubby Occurrences” as the Cardinals took two of three games. The Cubs did manage to save face and win the last game in extra innings but the tone was set Friday and Saturday with the Cardinals winning in walk off fashion in the bottom of the ninth of both games.
As the official eyewear of Major League Baseball, Oakley’s presence could not have been better. The O lab was set up just outside the centerfield entrance in plain view from every seat in the house. A highlight video of Cardinal players making spectacular plays sporting their Oakley’s was played throughout the series in addition to the signs advertising the lab displayed all over Busch Stadium.
Fans also could text “Oakley” in for a chance to win a pair of glasses with one lucky winner getting to throw out the first pitch in Fox’s televised Saturday Game of the Week.
The O Lab would like to thank the St. Louis Cardinals for their hospitality and making the event a huge success. We would also like to thank Daniel Richardson and crew for all of their hard work, The Experience Inc., Joe Pfiefer, Kyle Dinges, Don Loughridge, Joe Walsh, Joe Mazolla, Joe Cardoza, Joe Bryson, Craig Wilson, Scott Rovac, Jim Poole and the entire grounds crew, Papa Johns Pizza, Brandon Morris, Reynaldo Pickwoad, and all of the fans that took the time to come check out the truth of today’s eyewear marketplace.
